Av. Hasine Büşra Öfke
After graduating from Edirne Yıldırım Beyazıt Anatolian High School, Av. Hasine Büşra Öfke received a law degree from the Faculty of Law of Maltepe University in Istanbul in 2020 and obtained a licence to practise law in December of the same year.
Registered with the Edirne Bar Association under registration number 1546, Av. Öfke practises as an independent lawyer from an office in central Edirne. The main focus of the practice is criminal law: acting as defence counsel for suspects and defendants, and as counsel for victims and complainants, at both the investigation and the trial stage.
The office also provides legal advice and representation in family law, employment law, contract and debt matters, property and inheritance law, and administrative law. Because Edirne is a border city, immigration law, challenges to deportation orders and customs-related disputes are also among the office’s areas of work.
“Av.” is the Turkish abbreviation of avukat, meaning lawyer. Only lawyers registered with a Turkish bar association may use this title.

Language
Court hearings and official procedures in Turkey are conducted in Turkish. Where a client does not speak Turkish, an interpreter is used where necessary, and documents in other languages are submitted with a sworn translation.
